Management Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition
Antje Eckel, the brains behind Dr. Eckel, holds a doctorate in agricultural engineering. She established the company in 1994, creating one of the first German companies for feed additives to provide innovative, efficiency-oriented and health-promoting additives as alternatives to antibiotic growth promoters. Antje Eckel earned herself a reputation as a ‘pioneer of innovative feed additives’ and has developed the company from a small start-up to a medium-sized enterprise operating worldwide from its headquarters in Niederzissen.
Vice President Sales
Bernhard Eckel, an agronomist holding a doctorate in animal nutrition, got to know the industry from scratch. He established Dr. Eckel with Antje Eckel and was the first employee. As Vice President Sales, he is responsible for sales both in DACH and ROW and thus plays a major role in the success of the company.
Chief Operations Officer
With a keen eye, an experienced mind and a constant striving for improvement, the 46-year-old Argentinean is ideally equipped for the operational management at Dr. Eckel. With a degree in agronomy and Business Administration, he has worked with different kinds of companies in diverse work environments, from start-up to multinationals. Prior to joining the Dr. Eckel team, Guido Grassi worked in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, the US and Africa, recently as Country Head Thailand for the Animal Health division of a global corporation.
As COO at Dr Eckel, Guido Grassi ensures the excellent customer experience and innovative solutions for our clients today and in the future. In addition to his native Spanish, Guido speaks English and Portuguese and is working on his German. He loves spending his free time with his wife and three sons, doing sports or music. For more than 10 years, he was an active volunteer as a first responder and fire fighter in his local community.
Managing Director Thailand
Andreas Lewke, who holds a doctorate in agricultural sciences, has been at Dr. Eckel since 2011. Initially Director Asia and head of the Dr. Eckel representative office in Bangkok, Thailand, he became Managing Director of our Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition (Thailand) Co., Ltd. subsidiary in 2017. He is responsible for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and China. Among other things, he develops relationships with sales partners and familiarises our customers with Dr. Eckel’s innovative business concepts through seminars, training courses and conferences.
Area Manager Eastern Europe
Myroslav Pahuta joined the Dr. Eckel team in 2017. In addition to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Ukraine, he studied economics with a focus on foreign direct investment in agriculture. As Area Manager at Dr. Eckel, the native Ukrainian is responsible for Eastern Europe and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). He mainly operates in Poland, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, expanding our sales channels and caring for our customers.
Sales Manager Export
As Sales Manager Export, Yusif Gurbanov is responsible for customer acquisition and care in Eastern Europe and the CIS countries. The strengths of this eloquent analyst include market research and strategic planning. Before joining Dr. Eckel, Yusif worked for the German–Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce. He holds an MBA in Agricultural Management from the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University and a Master of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Hohenheim. In addition to his native Azerbaijani, Yusif is fluent in German, Russian, English and Turkish. In his free time, he enjoys sport, cooking and billiards.
Area Manager MENA
Peter Hummel studied finance at the College of Finance and Accountancy in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary, and subsequently graduated as an agricultural engineer from Kaposvár University. The native Hungarian also joined the Dr. Eckel team in 2017. The Area Manager is responsible for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, taking care of sales and our collaboration with various regional sales partners.
Sales Manager South Asia
Jaydip Sarkar, a native Indian, obtained his Master of Veterinary Science form the West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences in Kolkata, India, and has been Sales Manager South Asia responsible for India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan since 2017. Among other things, he takes care of communication with business and sales partners, and research institutions. He is also our customers’ primary contact for all sales and technical matters.
Area Manager Russia
With more than 20 years of experience in Animal Nutrition, Vitaly knows his business thoroughly in every sense. After graduating with honours from Mordovia State University, Saransk (Russian Federation) with a Bachelor in Animal Nutrition, he worked in Product and Business Development with several international key players of the industry before he joined Dr. Eckel in 2019. As Area Manager, he applies his vast knowledge and experience to advising our customers in Russia and is first point of contact for Dr. Eckel’s local sales partners.
Nguyễn Thị Thủy
Area Manager Vietnam
A veterinarian by profession, Thuy has longstanding experience as a nutritionist as well as in distribution and sales to the Vietnamese feed industry. She also has an MBA from Bolton University. Based in her native Vietnam, the Area Manager serves and supports our clients there in all questions concerning Dr. Eckel services and products.
Team Manager Sales North West Europe
Sven Brenner, who holds a doctorate in agricultural engineering, is responsible for customer care in German-speaking regions and in all Northwestern Europe, from Scandinavia and Great Britain to Austria and Switzerland. He initially joined Dr. Eckel’s DACH sales team as Sales Engineer for Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2014, and became Team Manager Sales Northwest Europe in 2018. Thus, he can optimally bring his many years of industry experience to bear at Dr. Eckel and indulge in his passion for travel. In his free time, Sven enjoys the great outdoors, on foot or on a sailing boat.
Beatrice Meyer, who holds a doctorate in veterinary surgery, joined the Dr. Eckel sales team in autumn 2016. She is responsible for northern Germany and tirelessly visits and advises our customers there.
Passionate about anything relating to customers, Pia-Catherine was already gaining experience in business development and sales while studying at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. Once she had earned her bachelor’s degree in SME management, she initially worked in the paper industry and subsequently joined the customer support team at Dr. Eckel in 2019. She is fluent in German and English, and also speaks French and Spanish. Pia likes to spend time with her family, planning her next city break or experimenting in the kitchen.

Senior Technical Sales Manager
Anne Möddel gained valuable experience in domestic pig farming early on. After completing her training as an agronomist and her master’s degree in agricultural sciences at the University of Bonn, she worked as a pig-farming specialist at an international feed manufacturer before joining the Technical Sales Team at Dr. Eckel.

Elisabeth Holl, an agronomist holding a doctorate in agricultural engineering, has been at Dr. Eckel for more than 20 years and knows the company inside out. The Technical Sales Manager is the point of contact for a large number of our products and can provide help in a variety of matters due to her broad expert knowledge.
Technical Sales Manager
Iris Kröger had already specialised in livestock while studying veterinary medicine. She did her doctorate in the use of feed additives in cows at the Institute of Animal Nutrition and Functional Plant Compounds at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. She joined Dr. Eckel’s Technical Sales team in 2018 and speaks French in addition to German and English. Originally from Berlin, she loves nature. What she particularly likes about life in the Eifel is that she can pursue her hobby of beekeeping here.
Niku Moussavi Biuki
Niku Moussavi Biuki, a pharmacy graduate, has been involved in product development at Dr. Eckel since 2016. His innovative ideas and pharmaceutical knowledge make him the main point of contact for the conception and formulation of new products, and the optimisation of the existing product portfolio.
Diana Schmitt is a travel agent by profession and has many years’ experience as a business travel agent. She is proficient at document handling and processing applications and approvals, and tackles the most complicated of registration processes with patience and skill. In her free time, she enjoys travelling to other countries. And she’s lost her Rhenish heart to carnival.
Miriam Packwood researched equid behaviour at rest and in movement for her thesis as part of her agricultural engineering degree at the University of Bonn. She has been a member of the Dr. Eckel team since 2011, initially responsible for experimentation in Product Development before moving to Quality Management in 2017. Here, the mother of two manages registrations while tirelessly infecting others with her good mood.

Office Administration Assistant
When Julia Giesbrecht began her training as an industrial clerk at Dr. Eckel in 2006, she was the first female trainee. Ever since, it is hard to envisage the company without her. Be it in processing or assistance, Julia has everything in control … with her trademark smile. She is responsible for travel arrangements, postal administration and day-to-day office supplies for the Executive Office, and is additionally Training Manager, responsible for Dr. Eckel trainees. Besides German and English, Julia is also fluent in Russian. The mother of two enjoys physical activities such as swimming, hiking and dancing in her valuable free time.
Ingrid Bauschinger is our longest serving colleague. The qualified notary’s clerk is familiar with all aspects of the company, having been at Dr. Eckel for 25 years. She started off as a management assistant responsible for order processing and moved on to purchasing. She is also working on various company projects, such as contributing organisationally to the expansion of the in-house production facility.

Team Manager Marketing & E-Learning
Scientific expertise meets bold ideas; a creative mind meets a technician’s heart. Responsible for marketing and e-learning since 2020, Viktor Eckel plays a key role in positioning and shaping the future of the Dr. Eckel brand. After completing his studies in biochemistry and a physiology internship at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Viktor was awarded a PhD in technical microbiology by the Technical University of Munich. Apart from his native German, he is fluent in English and speaks French and Norwegian.
The father of two now lives in his new (former) home in the Ahr valley. He only misses living in Munich when it comes to climbing: rather than in the Alps, the passionate mountaineer and climbing wall supervisor now often spends his free time in the Eifel or the nearby vineyards. When time permits, he enjoys sharing his love for cooking and craft beer with family and friends.
Anne-Kathrin Blässe holds a doctorate in biology and is a rabbit-breeding expert. She first started working in Product Management in 2012, then soon joined our Marketing Department. Trade fairs and events are her speciality. She is the creative force behind our popular giveaways and marketing campaigns.
PR & Communications Manager
Andrea Dietrich spent several years editing popular non-fiction books, ensuring excellent text and clear and comprehensible messages. She holds a master’s degree in book studies, history and English philology from Mainz University, and became a lifelong Scotland fan while studying in Edinburgh. As PR and Communications Manager, the mother of a little daughter is responsible for editing, polishing and refining texts, as well as organising events.
Head of Finance
With her experience and comprehensive knowledge, Sabine Felten has been a tower of strength for her colleagues at Dr. Eckel for almost 20 years. As Head of Finance, she is an authorised signatory and manages the department. The qualified assistant tax advisor and accountant does not easily get in a fluster, even on hectic days. She replenishes her Rhenish cheerful nature with long walks with her two dogs.
Accounting & Controlling
Laura Degen joined Dr. Eckel in 2007, after training as an industrial clerk. She is currently responsible for technical and integrative accounting, cost accounting and controlling. While working, the mother of two completed her further training as a financial accountant and a data protection officer. What she loves most about her home town Niederzissen is the people, carnival and her garden, which she tends with the meticulousness and care she applies to her lists of numbers.
Errors don’t stand a chance with her. At Dr. Eckel, Margit Heuser is responsible for invoice verification, accounts receivable and accounts payable. The qualified office communication specialist previously spent more than 20 years working in the finance department of a large winegrower. Apart from engaging in physical activities in her free time, the mother of two also enjoys riding her e-bike to work.
Team Manager Executive Office
Rose-Marie Corbin Osterholz is a qualified translator and the Good Samaritan of the company, and has been at Dr. Eckel since 2003. The Frenchwoman is an organisational wizard and puts her talent to good use as Office Manager, planning and managing customer and company events, and organising business trips.
Petra Rausch has been making everything possible at Dr. Eckel for close on 20 years. Responsible for organising meetings, procurement and Intrastat, she is practised at ensuring that everything at Dr. Eckel runs smoothly. In her free time, she is a passionate singer and a member of the committee for the mixed choir of the Choral Society of Niederzissen.
She is the organisational marvel at our office in Bangkok. Rissara dedicated most of her professional career to project and organisation management in business and administration. She also has worked with projects in the food and health sector. As Administration Assistant in our Bangkok office, Rissara competently cares for deadlines, appointments, accounts, contact to Thai authorities and anything else that demands a firm hand, sharp eye and organisational mind. She holds a Bachelor in German, English and History and an MBA in Global Entrepreneurship. In addition to her native Thai, Rissara speaks English, German and Japanese. If she finds the time, she enjoys trekking, gardening and reading.
Trainee Office communication
Mimoza really has her heart in the right place and is untiring in ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and that guests do not lack anything. The professional childcarer settled in Germany after leaving Kosovo in 2006. The mother of three likes to spend her free time doing handicrafts, hiking, reading or cooking.
After receiving her secondary school diploma, Eva started a dual study programme: while training as an industrial clerk at Dr. Eckel, she read for a Bachelor of Business Administration and International Management at the International School of Management (ISM) in Cologne. Since obtaining her degree, she currently supports our Executive Office. In addition to her native German, the young woman from Eschweiler speaks English and French and has enough energy for two in her free time: she plays volleyball, teaches the flute and plays various string instruments.
Martin Lind obtained his Master of Science from the University of Mainz and trained further as Quality Manager. The biomedical scientist specialised in immunology and genetics, and wrote his thesis on the effect of oxidative stress on cells. He employs his knowledge and a keen eye for detail for excellent quality management at Dr. Eckel. In his free time, the technophile from Koblenz enjoys riding his motorcycle on the winding roads of the Westerwald and Eifel.
