Dr. Eckel welcomes two new, experienced members of staff: veterinary surgeon Dr Elke Keßler has been contributing her expertise to the Technical Sales team since August; and Peter Hummel has been Country Manager for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region within the Dr. Eckel International Sales team since August too.
Dr Elke Keßler: Animal health expert
Dr Elke Keßler has gained extensive experience from both veterinary practice and animal health companies in the course of her career. After studying veterinary medicine at the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and specialising as a veterinary surgeon for pigs, she worked in various livestock practices and in the Baden-Württemberg pig health service. She moved to the animal feed industry in 2011, where she was Technical Service Manager for veterinary medicinal products (at Merial among others) and feed supplements.
“Dr Keßler is a real asset to our team,” Managing Director Dr Antje Eckel enthused. “Her formidable expertise will be of great benefit, both to us and to our customers.”
Peter Hummel: MENA sales expert
Peter Hummel brings to Dr. Eckel almost 20 years’ experience in international sales at companies such as BASF, Kemira and Delacon. He grew up on a farm in northern Hungary and has stayed faithful to the agricultural industry. After graduating in agricultural studies with a speciality in animal nutrition in Kaposvár, Hungary, he worked in pig and cattle breeding before moving to feed-additive sales.
