Solidarity that moves

With a donation of 6,000 euros, the team at Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition supported the reconstruction of the Caritas Werkstätten in Sinzig. The facility for people with disabilities was severely affected by the flood disaster in 2021.

Fundraising with heart: Dr. Eckel helps locally

As every year, the Dr. Eckel team auctioned off handmade items, special gifts and unique offers from employees such as a fencing course at the New Year's reception – and once again exceeded the previous year's total for the fourth time in a row. Company founder Antje Eckel once again personally doubled the proceeds, bringing the final amount to an impressive 6,000 euros. This year, the donation went to the Caritas Werkstätten, which are rebuilding their operations with great commitment.

At the cheque presentation on 17 April in Sinzig, Franz Josef Bell and Britta Lott gratefully accepted the donation. Several work and support areas are already back in operation. A new farm shop selling regional products will also open soon – another important step on the way back to everyday life.

For the Dr. Eckel team, one thing is clear: commitment does not end at the company gates. Working together, giving hope and creating new perspectives – for our region, for our future.
