Fascinating experience of Central Asia

Dr. Eckel visits Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan

During their business trip to Central Asia organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viniculture, Rhineland-Palatinate, our colleagues Myroslav Pahuta and Yusif Gurbanov took the opportunity to forge new contacts and experience the fascinating culture of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan first-hand. This was home territory for Junior Sales Manager Yusif Gurbanov: the agricultural manager responsible for developing customer relations in Eastern Europe and the CIS, who has been at Dr. Eckel since 2018, is originally from Azerbaijan. Myroslav Pahuta, Area Manager Eastern Europe, applauded the many opportunities to meet local business and political decision makers.

The Foreign Trade Department at the Ministry of Economic Affairs organises these annual trips to various regions to give SMEs the opportunity to acquaint themselves with new, interesting markets. The expense alone would be prohibitive to most companies.

After spending two days in the Uzbek capital Tashkent, the delegation proceeded to Baku in Azerbaijan. Apart from several promising meetings, the delegates enjoyed an extensive social programme that gave them a taste of the country and its culture.

According to the two sales managers, the trip was a resounding success. Our heartfelt thanks go to all involved. We at Dr. Eckel look forward to our continued collaboration.
