It was a great group, literally too: Algerian sales partner SARL MofVet came to visit with as many as 22 customers. Following a three-day stay in the Netherlands, the group moved on to the Ahr valley, just in time to experience the best weather winter has to offer—frigid temperatures and bright sunshine—at Dr. Eckel’s headquarters on Thursday.
Here, the visitors, who are all directly involved in the feed industry and poultry and cattle breeding, attended various training courses where they raised many issues and indulged in lively discussion in English, French and Arabic. This proved to be an inspiring exchange all round.
A visit to the production and aquaculture research facilities brought the day to a memorable close. Additionally, a trip to a nearby dairy farm on their last day rounded off the eventful visit: the Algerian guests were particularly interested in the large open barn and milking system for 300 dairy cows.
