Great excitement for the under-15 football team of JSG Zissen: the young players recently received a full set of brand-new jerseys. The kit was donated by local family business Dr. Eckel, based in Niederzissen, which is now supporting the team as its main sponsor – underlining the company’s strong commitment to developing young talent in the region.
Theo Eckel and Simone Jakupovic personally handed over the jerseys on the pitch to youth players Tobias and Finn, who accepted them on behalf of the entire team. Coaches Thomas Oligschläger and Sebastian Schmitz from JSG Zissen also took part in the handover.
Although the team didn’t win that day, the players proudly wore their new kit. For them, football is much more than a sport: it promotes team spirit, fairness and unity – values that are also deeply rooted in the corporate culture at Dr. Eckel. With over 30 years of regional roots, the family-owned company regularly supports local initiatives. “Supporting young people is an investment in the future of our community,” emphasised Theo Eckel.
