Business studies at first hand

A school trip to Dr. Eckel in Niederzissen was great fun for both sides

At the Freiherr von Boeselager-Realschule, practical relevance is especially important in the elective subjects. Thus, economics teacher Sabine Strack was pleased about the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Dr. Eckel Animal Nutrition in Niederzissen with her two economics and administration courses.

The students showed keen interest during the company presentation, the exploration of the warehouse and the production. Production manager Klara Eckel and Julia Giesbrecht (HR) never tired of answering the many good questions of the young visitors. In fact, they were impressed by the curiosity and especially the extensive knowledge of the children on the topics of animal welfare and sustainability. Finally, company founder Dr Antje Eckel did not miss the opportunity to say a personal word of farewell to the pupils.

Perhaps one or two of them found their next internship on this day or are already interested in an apprenticeship. In any case, the Dr. Eckel team is looking forward to another visit.
