Turkey industry today: Dr. Eckel at the 11th Turkey Science and Production Conference

The 11th Turkey Science and Production Conference is one of the most important events for the European turkey industry. This year, it was held in Cheshire, UK, from March 9 to 10. Our close cooperation partner, AB Vista, was one of the sponsors of the conference. Dr. Eckel was represented by Dr Michael Wilhelm (Business Development) and Dr Beatrice Meyer (Sales).

The conference gave members of the European turkey industry as well as suppliers and relief organizations the opportunity for networking and to learn about the latest scientific developments and production trends. The broad range of topics included reproductive biology, avian influenza, animal welfare, diet, nutrient analysis, enzymes, turkey management and incubation.

„Over the last two days we have heard many excellent talks. TSPC 2017 was a great opportunity for us to learn about the latest insights and trends in the turkey industry first hand. We also exchanged our knowledge with leading experts of the industry. In addition to efficient production, animal welfare is one of the most important aspects for us. It was also one of the main topics of the conference. With our range of products, which focus on intestinal health, health of footpads as well as on antibiotic free animal nutrition, we are well prepared for the current challenges of the turkey industry“, said Dr Michael Wilhelm after the conclusion of the conference.
