Under this motto a new room at the Brohltal sports facility/Niederzissen was inaugurated on Monday, the 19th July, 2010. Here PEKiP^® classes are offered starting in August.

Steffi Schröder, the dedicated instructor and mother of 2 children, is a qualified preschool teacher. Together with her children she has attended PEKiP^® classes herself. The resulting enthusiasm motivated Mrs. Schröder to do a PEKiP^® team leader training during her parental leave. „I am glad that Niederzissen is my village and PEKiP^® helps me to bring up my baby -“, Steffi Schröder thanked the municipality, the sponsors (Dr. Eckel GmbH, RWE, Elektro Schwarz, Isoquick) and assistants in her opening speech.

PEKiP^® is directed at parents with babies in the first year. In teams of up to 6 adults with their babies, PEKiP^® supports parents and children and offers an action-oriented and situation-oriented concept for family education.

Although the room is not accessible until August, two classes are already fully booked and the demand does not cease. Soon parents and children can make use of the new location and experience the first weeks and months oft heir babies together.
