How are animals nourished? How safe is German feed? Where in the world does Dr. Eckel deliver to? What did the new manufacturing plant cost? How does one become entrepreneur of the year? These and many other questions arose when the 10th form of the Niederzissen secondary school visited the Dr. Eckel GmbH last week.

A visit from the local secondary school

They were given a tour of the most important departments, from the receiving and dispatch warehouse to production and packaging and finally the research laboratory. From this the pupils and both teachers could gain insights into the multiple challenges that face the internationally operating company for animal feed additives.

Of course, the pupils also used this opportunity to find out about the possibilities of a professional training at Dr. Eckel. As every year, also in 2010 the Dr. Eckel GmbH will give young persons the opportunity to start their professional life. And one never knows - with some luck and good marks an applicant from the secondary school Niederzissen could be given a chance.
