Among industry experts the Dr. Eckel GmbH is known as a prime example of a successful and dynamic company. Founded in 1994, the company has gained an internationally acknowledged reputation by specializing in innovative feed additives. A market share of approx. 20 percent in Germany - in spite of the competition of transnational chemical industries - and the marketing of effective additives for the feed industry in 20 countries worldwide are impressing results of Dr. Eckel's continuous growth strategy. In 2009 the 24 employees created a revenue of approx. 17 million euros. Affectionately called "Eckel Tower" by the Niederzissen locals, the latest investment is the new production building finished in March 2009. It protects product innovations and facilitates the further development of the market position.
